everywhere!! They are not the kinds in pots,
although there are a lot of those outside on
porches and decks, but these are poinsettia
trees!! Absolutely incredible!!
On another nature note, when we walked
at the Estuary there were three men
with telescopes down by an arm of the
They were a part of the Audubon Society
assigned to this area to do the Christmas
count. They told us the Society is world
wide and during this time of the year, they
all go to their assigned areas and count
birds. I thought that was interesting. They
had just found two white pelicans and it
was a surprised because they are fresh
water pelicans...learned all kinds of things and got to see two white pelicans through
the telescopes!
After the Missionary Coordinating meeting on Thursday, we went to lunch at Subway and ran into a former investigator that we keep tabs on, she is in her eighties. We had such a great visit...the interesting thing is we ran into her at the same Subway in September...have to love those moments!!
My husband gets the "Husband of the Day" award. We had a date night on Friday night and went out to dinner. After I told him I really wanted to walk through a store that had lots of decor and Christmas decorations...Pier 1 Imports!! He actually took me there and walked around with me while I absorbed!! A sweet bonus was one of the clerks came over and talked with us and was a member....these Mormons are everywhere!!

across the courtyard from us.
Elder Sterneckert and Jones have been
teaching her at the table in the middle
of the courtyard, it has been fun watching
them. Another neighbor has been joining
in off and on. Chelsa told me she couldn't
believe the things they taught her, she
already believed them and thought she was
the only person in the world that believed in things like families in eternity. A golden contact for the
missionaries and the ward because she has been so excited about everything!! We were asked to give talks on Baptism (me) and the Holy Ghost (him). BUT then as we got ready for the opening hymn, Elder
Sterneckert whispered to me and ask me to lead the music!! Now we all know how musically talented I am!! But being a good missionary I led the singing...another first in my life. This mission is full of those!!
